Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. Ali is the friend of Allah. Jurjan’ in Arabic); in the margin, ‘Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā Muḥammad’ (‘O Allah! Bless Muhammad’ in Arabic), followed by the names of the twelve Shiʿa imams.
